Valentines Day Fruit Basket

Here is a question received about Valentines Day Fruit Basket.

Guys I Need idea’s for Valentine’s Day gifts. Please help?
My husband is in the military and he just spent Christmas with me and won’t be able to get leave again for about 6months. I can’t make the trip to go see him because I’m taking care of my mother. So I need some really good gift ideas. He is 26 years old still loves to play video games (mostly fighting and shooting) he loves music but already has a mp3 player. Just got a sprint moment so I can’t get him that. I can’t think of anything else. Please help!?

A Few Answers

A gift card

Make an origami heart (ehow) or a folded rose (bloom4ever) - search the internet or email for the links. YA won't let me post the links.

Laminate a photo of the two of you, made into a bookmark - so it can be a few small pics or just one, glue it to construction paper, then hole punch the top and put twine through the hole.

Hello,

Shopping for men can indeed be a challenge sometimes. As I guy myself, I think that it's important to understand YOUR man and what his areas of interest are. You mentioned that he "loves to play video games". Does he already own a gaming system such as a Playstation 3 or XBOX 360? Those two are the more popular choices currently on the market. Assuming that he has one these consoles, I would suggest buying him Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 or Uncharted 2.

If that's not an option, consider getting him one of these Valentines Day Gifts for 2010:

USB Webcam: This is one of the easiest ways to stay in touch with your husband. From a guys’ point-of-view, I think he would really love it! Take a look at these USB web cams: http://computers.become.com/usb-webcam

Non Stick Skillet: If your husband enjoys cooking, then you might want to consider buying him a non stick skillet. It just might be what he's looking for this Valentines Day. See more non stick skillets: http://home-and-garden.become.com/non-stick-skillet:

Some might say that chocolate is a girls best friend, but I think that guys enjoy chocolate too. A box of Godiva Chocolates is sure to put a smile on his face. Imagine him opening to a heart shaped box. He would probably call you the moment it arrives and tell you how much he loves you! I mean, I know I would! Men may not always be in touch with their softer side, but they do love the feeling of being appreciated. If you can’t think of anything else to get him, chocolate should be at the top of your list. I hope this information helps you in deciding what to get your husband this Valentines Day. Remember, he probably isn't looking for an expensive or flashy gift, but rather one that he feels was given to him with pure sincerity and love. Get him something that will have him constantly thinking about you. I wish you both a wonderful and happy Valentines Day.
